What's Your Story? (Here's Ours)

What wakes us up
in the morning?

We know that each day
we get to make things easier
for other organizations.

When your company or organization first set out in the world, it was inspired by a reason for being. Someone wanted to make things easier, or more exciting, or more intriguing for someone else. Maybe they even wanted to redefine entire ways of thinking and doing—for the betterment of individuals, whole communities, or (wow!) the entire world.

Here at WNDYR, all of those aims are part of our story line.

What wakes us up in the morning? We know that each day we get to make things easier for other organizations so they can get to the good stuff—so they can live into their reasons for being, with power and drive.

And, yes, we want to redefine entire ways of thinking and doing, in a climate where humanity needs to set itself apart from the robots and the runarounds.

We know that the way we do business today means the world we hand others tomorrow. And we are set on making that a beautiful, exciting, life-giving world indeed.

From products, to services, to sponsored events and philanthropic involvements, we’re here to bring wonder (and inspired wandering) to your world, the world, and ours.

THE DISCOVERY BEHIND OUR NAME

In this quick listen, our CEO Claire Haidar reveals her discovery of the word “lutalica” on a site called The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows—and how this became the basis for the WNDYR name.

WNDYR—which combines the concepts of both wondering and wandering—is the starting place for everything we do.

We're especially curious about the role that work has on each individual, since it takes up 90% of a person's time. Given that reality, what if work could help people continually evolve into improved versions of themselves? That's the question we work from.

Overall, we encourage people to freely and creatively explore. We believe the world is a wondrous place, and it's worthwhile for everyone to make a positive impact.
